Our Story

Tri-Tel strives for customer satisfaction. Our “advertising” is done via word of mouth and referrals from our customers that have come to trust in our commitment to professional standards with a personal touch.

Tri-Tel Communications has been incorporated and serving Colorado businesses since 1986. It was started by Stan Van Buren along with two associates after working for Mountain Bell (now CenturyLink) for over 30 years.

Troy Frodine started in 1991, then took over as President in 1994. He has continued to run the organization with the same principles of quality and long lasting relationships that Stan first exemplified.
